Join us on Tuesday, March 5th at 6:30p at CrossFit Future
On Tuesday, March 5th at 6:30p Dr. Jordan Meyer will be teaching a workshop on core training at CrossFit Future in Gahanna, OH.
This course is open to everyone. You do not need to be a member at CrossFit Future. The cost is $20. You can register below by clicking the “Register Now!!” button.
Dr. Meyer has been treating strength athletes, Olympic Weightlifters, and CrossFitters at CCRC for over 6 years. He, himself, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). He uses a lot of his strength training knowledge in the treatment of his patients/athletes. Much of the focus of his treatments is to get his patients’ cores working properly to improve performance and reduce their risk of recurrence. He is going to take his knowledge and experience with him to this core workshop and teach attendees how to properly brace, move, and train their cores.
This is not a silly “core class” that only involves side-bridges, planks, and other easy rehabilitation exercises. This is a course for serious strength training athletes like CrossFitters. In this course, in addition to covering how the core works, Dr. Meyer will teach attendees how to properly brace for max lifting and use their cores effectively in many common CrossFit movements.
If you are interested in improving your performance or just trying to move/train with less pain, this class is perfect for you.
What the workshop involves...
- The entire workshop is hands-on
- Learn how the core works
- Learn how to properly brace for max lifting
- Workshop exercises to improve your core strength
- Learn how to apply proper core activation to common CrossFit movements.
