Columbus Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center
Welcome to the Columbus Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center. Our mission is to provide high quality, patient-centered care to the Columbus community. We believe that health is a way of life. Our goals are to empower patients to surpass what they thought was possible and achieve their movement goals.
At the Columbus Chiropractic and Rehabilitation Center, we take an evidence-based, functional approach to musculoskeletal problems. We specialize in chiropractic care along with physical therapy and manual therapy. We do so in order to eliminate pain, but also to address the source of pain to prevent reccurrence.
So come in and see what Columbus Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center can do for you!
Our Approach
Supplying high quality care requires identification of not only the source of the pain, but the dysfunction that has resulted in the pain. If the primary dysfunction is not addressed, the problem is destined to return. A thorough, detailed examination is required because the dysfunction, or root cause of the problem, is often not where the pain is. As an example, many lower back problems result from foot dysfunction and many hand/wrist problems result from shoulder or neck dysfunction. It is our passion to identify the cause of our patient’s problem so that we can get them out of pain and restore them to full, healthy activity as quickly as possible.

Dr. Richard Ulm
Dr. Ulm has been with CCRC since the beginning. Wanting to offer the best possible, most progressive care to the Columbus community, after graduating from National University of Health Sciences in 2011, he opened up Columbus Chiropractic & Rehabilitation Center. Dr. Ulm has a long history with athletics and strength & conditioning, which has profoundly influenced his clinical approach. Trained by Jud Logan (4x Olympian and world-famous track coach), he won two NCAA Division II National Championships in college and competed on the US national level for 5 years. The pinnacle of his career was competing at the 2004 Olympic Trials in Sacramento, CA. In addition to being an athlete himself, he was also a strength coach at the collegiate and post-collegiate levels. His over 15 year career in sports is what shaped his functional approach to treating patients. It made him realize that the best care utilizes a variety of treatment techniques, not just joint manipulation. To this end, he is an avid consumer of information, always looking for the best therapies to utilize with his patients. Dr. Ulm is a certified provider by the Motion Palpation Institute (MPI), for whom he also teaches.
